How does Mentra work for job seekers?

A human-centered design approach.

Based on our research initiated at Georgia Tech, the team has learned what data is instrumental to making or breaking

a good job fit. We have spent over 2 years understanding the autism community to intimately understand pain points

and success factors in a job position. Today, we are working with employers to examine and address barriers in the employment process.

Mentra's four profile areas ensure a successful fit.

Our founding story.

Jhillika Kumar, Mentra’s founder, was inspired by her non-speaking autistic brother who ignited her passion to advocate for disability rights as well as a career driven by a mission to create an inclusive world. While attending Georgia Tech, she founded Mentra with Conner Reinhardt and spoke as keynote speaker at the Grace Hopper Celebration and TEDxGeorgia Tech to share her brother’s story and raise awareness for the neurodiverse community.

My personal experiences with my non-speaking autistic brother ignited my passion to  design a world where my brother can one day find a job.

I never understood the humanity behind the accessibility movement until hearing Jhillika's brother's story. I saw a chance to contribute to real change.

We are stronger in numbers.

We are a team of disability advocates and autistic self-advocates. If you join is, it helps us
help you. We will advocate for you with every employer and CEO we talk to so they can leverage this platform to succeed.
